Property Rights Group Endorses Scott Roberts

Oregonians in Action’s President calls Roberts “the best person on the ballot to represent the southern Oregon coast”

Scott Roberts, D.D.S, candidate for the Oregon Legislature in House
District 9, is excited to announce the endorsement of Oregonians in
Action (OIA), a non-partisan, non-profit organization representing
Oregon home and property owners.

Dave Hunnicutt, president of OIA, emphasized that property rights
aren’t a Republican or Democrat issue.  “Property ownership is the
American dream.  It isn’t the Republican dream or the Democrat dream.
All Oregonians, regardless of the party membership or philosophy, have
a right to do as they wish with their private property without the
government imposing crippling fees, taxes, or regulations.  As a small
business and property owner, we believe Scott Roberts will do
everything possible to protect the rights of private property owners.”

“He’s the best person on the ballot to represent the southern Oregon
coast,” said Hunnicut.

Roberts says he was honored by OIA’s endorsement and Hunnicutt’s
comments.  “There are few rights more sacred than the right to do as
we wish with property that is ours,” said Roberts.  “When I am a state
legislator, I will never, ever stop fighting to protect that right.”
